When Kindness Counts

A hand is in focus holding a paper coffee cup. It reads "PS, I love your bandanas." The background is a sunlit coffee shop with warm wood flooring, and worn furnishings."

There is something about a local coffee shop. I rolled into Ghostlight Coffee yesterday, 100% in my own head about a presentation I was about to give (read: silently fa-reaking out). I didn’t even notice the barista was definitely writing more than “Oat L” on my oat milk latte. I certainly didn’t expect that they would remember me as that bandana designer. But when I got my completed drink, it sure did make me smile.

It was a reminder that we can randomly bump into each other in this world and partake in incidental transactions. Or we can choose to pour light and love into it. The latter takes more effort, but it sure is worth it.
