Gems in the Gem City

The past month has been pretty grand in terms of new story placements for Sugar Camp. I talk a lot about my hometown, because I love it so. Being invited into two different Dayton institutionsBrim & Ghostlight Coffee (both locations) has really been a dream come true.

Colorful Sugar Camp bandanas are stacked in a row, folded into triangles.

I’ve been shopping at Brim in the Oregon District—a most amazing hat shop here in Dayton—since they opened their bright yellow doors in 2012. The thing I love about Brim is they can match the perfect hat to any person and make it seem like it was meant just for them. I feel the same way about my bandanas. With our powers combined, you’re gonna be killing the accessory game. They are currently carrying my 100% cotton bandanas, as well as my Select silk-cotton bandanas. Go check them out, online or in person, and become a hat person, too!

The Ghostlight South Park bandanas will be displayed to the left of the door on the bottle shop shelves. The Midtown bandanas are currently on a cart by the register.

Ghostlight is an example of what is good and resilient and lovely about the Gem City. Their South Park location is like if the Gryffindor Common Room were a coffee shop. It’s the first coffee spot I’ve ever felt at home in. And the Midtown location is sun-drenched, plant-filled, and so comforting. You can find me working or meeting friends there rather frequently. My 100% cotton, USA Made bandanas will be found at both locations.

And just for fun, here’s a picture of me and my son, when he was a tiny baby, at the Ghostlight South Park location.
